Delivery policy

Mori Bonsai ("we" and "us") operates the website (http://www.moribonsai.co.uk) ("Website"). By placing an order through this Website, you agree to the terms outlined below. These terms are provided to ensure both parties understand and agree to this arrangement, setting clear expectations on our services.

1. General

All orders are subject to stock availability. While we strive to maintain accurate stock counts, there may occasionally be discrepancies, and some items may not be available at the time of purchase. In such cases, we will fulfill the available products and contact you regarding whether you prefer to wait for the restocked item or receive a refund for the unavailable items.

3. Returns

3.1 Return Due to Change of Mind
Mori Bonsai is happy to accept returns due to a change of mind, provided a return request is made within 30 days of receipt. Items must be returned in their original packaging, unused, and in a resalable condition. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility, and they must arrange their own shipping. Once the return is received and accepted, refunds will be processed as store credit for future purchases, and we will notify you by email. Mori Bonsai will refund the value of the goods returned but will not refund any shipping costs.

3.2 Warranty Returns
We are happy to honour valid warranty claims, provided they are submitted within 90 days of receipt of the item. Customers must prepay for return shipping, but we will reimburse this cost upon a successful warranty claim. Once the items are received, Mori Bonsai will process your warranty claim within 7 days. If the claim is approved, you can choose from the following options: (a) A refund to your original payment method (b) A store credit refund (c) A replacement item, if available

4. Delivery Terms

4.1 Domestic Transit Time
Domestic shipments generally take 1–3 days in transit.

4.2 Same-Day Dispatch
Orders placed before 10 AM GMT will be dispatched the same day. Orders placed after this time, or if Next Day Delivery is purchased, will be dispatched the following business day. Our warehouse operates Monday–Friday, excluding national holidays.

4.3 Change of Delivery Address
You may request a change of delivery address any time before your order has been dispatched.

4.4 P.O. Box Shipping
We ship to P.O. box addresses using postal services. Courier services are unavailable for these locations.

4.5 Military Address Shipping
We ship to military addresses using appropriate postal services. Courier services are not available for these addresses.

4.6 Items Out of Stock
If an item is out of stock, we will contact you to discuss how you would like to proceed with the order.

4.7 Delivery Time Exceeded
If your delivery exceeds the expected timeframe, please contact us so we can investigate.

5. Tracking Notifications
Upon dispatch, you will receive a tracking link to follow your shipment's progress via updates from the shipping provider.

6. Parcels Damaged in Transit
If your parcel is damaged in transit, please reject it upon delivery and contact our customer service team. If the parcel was delivered without you being present, please get in touch with us for further instructions.

7. Duties & Taxes
7.1 Sales Tax

Sales tax has already been applied to the price of goods as displayed on the website.

8. Cancellations
If you change your mind before receiving your order, we can accept cancellations at any time before the order is dispatched. If your order has already been dispatched, please refer to our return policy.

9. Insurance

All parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value provided by the courier.

9.1 Process for Damaged Parcels
We will process a refund or replacement once the courier completes their investigation into the claim.

9.2 Process for Lost Parcels
If your parcel is lost in transit, we will issue a refund or replacement after the courier has conducted an investigation and confirmed the parcel's loss.
